Thursday - great day! lol
Snowboarded the entire day, before lunch with mike and then the afternoon with Karla. Had lunch at tbar and then it was time to attend to broomball with housekeeping at 4.
SO much fun lol, hope we can do it again with just our department.
Anyway, after that it was time to get down to business! A full 230unit and a bottle of baileys later i was in my best game.
Off to tbar n just enjoyed life, team sweden won the hockeygame - but lost at pool.
The walk home from tbar was just hilarious, i think we shouldnt say what really happened but i would say that Adam is a clear candidate for the next Olympic Javelin team :P

what am i doing? i need sleep, but i promised myself to go riding early today - bummer...
Even tho we havnt gotten any new snow over the past cpl of days its still pretty nice out there, was riding solo yesterday for the first time, it was some good quality time with myself.
later on i joined forces with gill n jessica, gooooood times.
anyway, gotta go, i want that first chair!

Saturday was a good day, went over to mikes place for dinner - delish!

As i was invited to lauras for predrinks thats where i headed around 8ish, had a great time there as well. Cant believe that the girls spent 3hours learning a little dance that they wanted to rock on the dancefloor!

But it totally made my day!

Said goodbye to alana whos leaving today. Decided that it was time to leave around 9ish - needed the sleep, and slept well i did :)
Now im awake however and just about to eat breakfast so that i can head out!

Mike was kind to go riding with me, which is good as he pushes me to improve my snowboarding.
We had heard that Xtreme dream zone was closed as well as taynton bowl - due to heavy snowfall over the last couple of days!
Anyway, we make our way up the hill and just as we got of the champagne chair they decided to open up Xtreme, sweet! An awesome first run through that part of the mountain, we werent the first, but lots of powder to cruise through!
Then on our second drop of the champagne chair they opened Taynton! Made our way up there asap.
Walked all the way to never neverland, rough walk i tell you, took a while. But was it worth it you may ask...
OH YES! That was the best run of my life so far!
40cm of powder and we were the first ones to ride it!

2Hours later i stand here in a clean unit, knowing its only a matter of time before its dirty, again.

Just got back from work but figured i should write down a few words.
Went riding on monday n took the camera with me as well as the new headcam - thanks robin ;)
Some sweet hours on the mountain with aron n adam, who has improved ALOT over the last couple of weeks!
Due to technical failure aka the headcam was recording everything in a 90degree angel - we didnt get that much footage, although im going to see what i can do about it n hopefully i can get some good material for a movieclip with adam in it. He wants proof that he can ride hehe.
Felt kinda bad about that so i spent 5hours today in front of Sony Vegas Pro 9.0, god im tired, just continued the sentence in swedish :P damnit!
Anyway, i edited some old material and managed to put a small movie together, its my first try and i didnt have that much material, so dont be too hard. It is going to get better!
its quite late, im going riding in the morning - so good night guys!
Pray that i will get some new sweet footage tomorrow!

December was a long month my friends.
I screwed things up with lisa - got into the friend zone, which i didnt like, lisa went home for exams n christmas.
Matt got a girlfriend, laura - nice girl i must say, really happy for him and things seem to be serious between them which is nice. Im kind of jealous coz he is planning on sticking around, moving east with her and go to school there which is awesome!
Gaaaah! I want some adventure as well, i am actually thinking of going back to sweden, get a bachelor degree and then fuck off for life, go out there and enjoy the world - dont feel like being an uneducated kid forever :P
We started nightcom - cool as we can board all day long aka im a pro rider now!
Anyway, so they are hanging out alot aka Matt doesnt feel like doing nightcom anymore -> Nik is questioning why he does it as well:P...
Then Morgan decided to show up on dec 20th, cool i say, "damn this shit" he yelled on his second day of boarding :P But we got through and when he left us on the 4th he had become a decent snowboarder, many thanks to matt for his supervision n Morgan deserves some credit for his passion n determination ;)
Christmas - lol, what christmas? worked all through it, matt got christmas eve off which was good as he n morgan spent their day at lauras. Thank you laura for dinner on christmas day! awesome!
Dec 27. Day of days, I got to borrow glennas Toyota Corolla so i could pick up robin n lisa in Calgary.
As it was the first time in 4months to drive for me, morgan had to come with me :)
3,5hour later we were lost on HW 2 we thought - it wasnt HW 2... Anyway we made it to the airport n had some "sightseeing" during the day hehe.
Visited IKEA! It was a weird feeling i tell you, felt like being home in a way, it all looked so familiar, so SWEDISH!
Bought meatballs, gräddsås and gingerbread!! speaking of which haha im gonna eat some!
Drive home was even longer... 4,5hours of no vision through the windshield and driving when everyone is tired - not so funny.
New years eve - some nice fireworks but both me n matt working = no go.
Got home at 1.15 - Nik was tricked into drinking n went to bed at 4, considering the fact i started at 1.15 i think it was an alright night, but a crappy new years eve...
3&4th Robin n Morgan left, leaving a memory of the place called home somewhere back in the country named Sweden... It was great having you guys over and I hope you enjoyed your stay here.

Foot's on fire!?

I did at 3:44 AM. It's not funny at all I can tell you that.
The panic that goes through your body as you try to wake up and get a grip of the situation.
You instantly grab your foot to feel the damage, but there is none.

What in the name of God was I dreaming about?
After a small inspection of the bed and the surrounding area I found the answer to what started all this.
The heater. Glenna must have been cold when she got home from her movie night.
I went up to go and have a look at the thermostate and boy was I correct. 24 degrees.
No wonder the heater was scalding hot.
I turned it down to a more comfortable temperature of 20 degrees and went back to bed.
I woke up this morning and felt well-rested.

Just got out of the shower, nothing else to do than put cloths on and walk out and wait for the firedepartment to arrive.
Had to spend 30mins outside, which is enough to realise you should have put on some more cloth!
Halloween-event at housekeeping office tomorrow after work btw, hope it will be fun, pics will be up tomorrow!
