Foot's on fire!?
Have you ever woken up by this feeling that your foot is on fire?

I did at 3:44 AM. It's not funny at all I can tell you that.
The panic that goes through your body as you try to wake up and get a grip of the situation.
You instantly grab your foot to feel the damage, but there is none.

You start to wonder, why did this feel so real and why is my foot all warm?
What in the name of God was I dreaming about?
After a small inspection of the bed and the surrounding area I found the answer to what started all this.
The heater. Glenna must have been cold when she got home from her movie night.
I went up to go and have a look at the thermostate and boy was I correct. 24 degrees.
No wonder the heater was scalding hot.
I turned it down to a more comfortable temperature of 20 degrees and went back to bed.
I woke up this morning and felt well-rested.

Thursday 19ish
Firealarm in Springs went off! lol...
Just got out of the shower, nothing else to do than put cloths on and walk out and wait for the firedepartment to arrive.
Had to spend 30mins outside, which is enough to realise you should have put on some more cloth!
Halloween-event at housekeeping office tomorrow after work btw, hope it will be fun, pics will be up tomorrow!

oh, almost forgot - found the "Tools" hat again - it was under my bed hehe!

Woke up yesterday - looked at the clock... 7.56!!!! SHIT! 4mins!
Got dressed superfast = almost olympicfast, and ran out of springs, down the stairs and WOOOOP! First fall so far hahahaha.
However, the weather says we will have below 0 all week, and another 11cms of snowfall on thursday - do we love it? YES WE DO!
We are gonna go into invermere today, get a haircut and look for halloween costumes!
N tonight we might get a huge burger - if so im gonna post about that experience!

Haha, have to admit that that's about it... Hate off season! Oh the first snow maker came yesterday, charlie from england. So ppl are starting to show up.
Should probably tell you about audiobooks - it rocks! Me and Matt have been downloading a cpl and it really makes time pass by much faster when you are at work.
Oh, we are going to go skiing for the first time this year on the 16th of november - at lake louise or whatever the name was...

You might remember when i said that the alcohol is not interferring with our work, you know what.
I LIED!
We went out yesterday with most of the other souls of staff accomm, which resulted in getting hammered...
So let me describe our day.
First we spent 40mins in a maids room, matt in a chair and nick in a linen bin :P
Then we moved to a Comm room and spent 1hour just sleeping on a towel on the floor.
Then we decided we had to work a bit, so we vacuumed homeowner experience.
As the time was getting closer to 12 we wanted to have lunch, but lisa and courtney were both asleep so we had to murphy oil baseboards for 1 hour.
Had lunch at 1 to 230ish, and we feel kinda bad for it.
Then we finished the laundry room and deepcleaned.
At least we know that we are not suppose to drink a day before work :/
The highlight of the day is when the girls get home tho, as they are bringing PIZZA!! weeeeee i like!

Thanksgiving!
It's time for our first Thanksgiving. We're going to Courtney and Lisas place up in Springs.
Dinner and some alcohol.
This day, so far, has been pretty slow. We've spent the entire day in front of our computers except for one short trip to G-spot. Then came the big change, we assembled our new snowboards! That's right, you heard us, new snowboards. Matt traveled here with a board but as it's 5-6 years old and a bit to short for him he decided to get some new gear. Nick didn't have a snowboard coming here, so it was an easy choice for him to buy one.
We got the Burton Hero board with Burton EST Cartel bindings and Burton Poacher boots. Matt got the purple one and Nick got the blue one. We are both very excited to ride them during the winter season which is 2 months away. We've even been told that some slopes in Banff opens in like a month! Road trip time!
The weeks go by pretty fast now even though deep cleaning is the worst thing ever. The snow definitely helps!
That's right, we have snow and minus degrees. The snow canons are shooting snow on the slopes and all the surrounding mountains are covered by a nice looking white layer.
Thursday
We are going to Gill and Stephs Thanksgiving party today, even though the real Thanksgiving is on Monday.

We're making garlic mashed potatoes to bring to the dinner. I hope it'll taste good.
On Saturday we are aloud to take a two hour lunch to be able to see the Sweden vs. Denmark soccer game which starts at 12 here in Canada! It'll be awesome!
The game will either ruin the rest of the day or make it the best ever!
Our garlic mashed potatoes are soon ready. The garlic is in the oven and the potatoes are soon done.
The chefs are just sitting here and taking some shots and listening to music!
Time to shower and get going!

Due to a stupid, planned power interuption we lost internet for two days!
Anyway my friends, we have been up to alot of things recently!
Lisa came back! YAY, got this sweeeet place in Springs! that is now out new base and just the perfect place to spend lunch and evenings at!
Been BBQing there once already.
Found a 6 year old reciept the other day while deepcleaning PINE INN! sweet! we are ze best!
Then we went shopping, as we were starving, that resulted in alot of food and 260 dollars gone! we are happy tho as we got foood! yummy!...
18ish - im gonna add more later, but hot tubs are calling!
